Our Partners

RBC

RBC believes in creating a positive social impact, and they recognize that their success depends on the health and prosperity of the communities where they live and work. They have a strong commitment to Indigenous communities, and building relationships based on mutual respect, shared values and a common understanding toward a sustainable future for all generations to come.

RBC is pleased to partner with Influence Mentoring, an organization that seeks to match business mentors with Indigenous post-secondary students to support and assist them, virtually, in their educational journey.

CCIS

For 40 years, the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) has been offering settlement and integration services and support to immigrants and refugees as they transition into their new lives in Southern Alberta. CCIS has been recognized locally, provincially, and nationally for our innovative program design, commitment to community engagement, delivery of client-centred services, and impactful best practices.

As a settlement organization, CCIS recognizes the importance of introducing newcomers to the history, culture, and traditions of the original peoples of the land they now call home. Over the years, we have worked to build bridges between local Indigenous communities and the newcomer population, with a focus on education and mutual support. We welcome our partnership with Influence Mentoring as another way to strengthen this connection, while supporting Indigenous post-secondary students with their educational and career goals.
